What happens next

What happens after you send one memory.

We do not turn your note into a giant project. We turn it into a clear next step.

We read what you shared, look for the strongest thread, and send back a simple Story Map. It tells you what the story may be, what to gather first, what to handle carefully, and whether it is worth building into a finished private keepsake.

1

We read for the real story.

Not the biggest possible project. The clearest thread: person, recipe, place, object, voice, scene, question, or moment.

2

We name what to gather first.

Usually one useful item: a photo, recipe card, voice note, object, date, phrase, or person who remembers more.

3

We send a Story Map.

A small plan for the memory: the likely path, key questions, source anchors, and what not to guess.

4

You choose the next step.

You can stop there, send one more detail, or continue into a paid Story Capsule build.

Useful even if you pause

The first reply should make the next step obvious.

If the Story Map makes the memory feel clearer, you can continue. If life gets busy, you still have a better starting point than you had before.

That is the whole point: help the family begin without making one person carry every role at once.

What you receive first

A small Story Map, not a homework packet.

The first reply should tell you what the story probably is, what to gather first, and what can wait.

It may recommend a paid next step if the memory has enough shape, but the first job is clarity. Not pressure.
